Create, Connect and Foster
In the lifelong learning journey, the quality of early childhood and primary education, the enhancement of non-cognitive skills, and the development of human resources to support this educational scene is crucial.
Global Sky Education is a world-class educational and cultural services company with a strong laboratory capability to research and develop international, cutting-edge educational and cultural services that integrate learning and play, to enable more people to have new, life-changing learning experiences in Australia, New Zealand and Japan where we operate learning hubs. Furthermore, we want to contribute to the qualitative improvement of early childhood education and care on a global scale by providing international exchange and cross-cultural understanding programmes that connect with the world through our learning hubs in Japan and overseas.
We are committed to 'creating' educational content, 'connecting' with the world and 'fostering' lifelong learners, in other words, future creators.
Supporting lifelong learning
We foster lifelong learning so that each individual can grow in their own way, as they improve themselves and gain confidence in facing challenges. We provide creative learning opportunities to foster future creators who will play an active role in global society.
Our focus is on researching, developing and implementing cutting-edge global education on the basis of 'Learning through Play'. The curiosity and creativity that people are born with is the starting point for self-realisation, and through the experiences of 'touch, create, enjoy, collaborate, present and empathise', we promote essential growth while raising self-esteem.
Enhancing human intelligence and creativity
Humanity has always dreamt big, kept learning and pioneered new paths. In the VUCA* era, we are convinced that facing questions with no right answers, deep thinking, trial and error, respecting different cultures and dialogue, refining our 'intelligence', enhancing our creativity and evolving our life skills**, which are our human strengths, will lead to personal growth.
*Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity
**The World Health Organisation (WHO) defines ambiguity as "the psychosocial abilities needed to cope more constructively and effectively with the various problems and demands of everyday life" and includes general life skills such as 1) decision-making, 2) problem-solving, 3) creative thinking, 4) critical thinking, 5) effective communication, 6) interpersonal relationship building, 7) self-awareness, 8) empathy, 9) coping with emotions and 10) coping with stress.
Definition of 'future creators' and skills development.
Throughout human history, we have pursued social prosperity while developing our survival skills, intelligence and ethics. The 'future creators' we want to foster are 'lifelong learners' who have big dreams, are creative and continue to learn. We nurture non-cognitive skills in children from infancy and, through lifelong learning, produce human resources with a mindset that will contribute to the creation of a sustainable society in the future, as a synthesis of the three skill axes of General, Global and Professional.
Foster future creators and
connect them with the world.
Provide opportunities
for creative learning globally.
・Customer-oriented
・Long-term perspective
・Ethical standards
・Advanced ideas
・Respect for people and nature
Message
Our philosophy is to "foster future creators and connect them with the world", and we want to contribute to the development of human resources to build a sustainable society by providing creative learning opportunities on a global scale.
Global Sky's name symbolises "protecting the sky and land and developing projects internationally that enhance the attractiveness of communities." Community starts with people. It is people who solve social problems and create cultural, environmentally friendly and sustainable societies. We want to foster attractive communities around the world by connecting people with people who are full of curiosity and continue to learn.
We are committed to providing world-class, high-quality educational and cultural content as early childhood learning through play is particularly important in the lifelong learning journey. Many of the experiences I had at Bing Nursery School, a kindergarten affiliated with Stanford University in the United States, remain vivid in my memory and have undoubtedly had a significant impact on my later life. It should be natural for people, regardless of generation, to grow up through creative learning that utilises their innate curiosity and creativity.
It is no exaggeration to say that the learning and play experienced in early childhood forms the foundation of life and determines the future of the planet on which the children who will create the future live, while the social and economic structure itself is undergoing major changes due to climate change, the spread of infectious diseases, globalisation, digitalisation and technological advances. We will contribute to 'fostering' future creators by developing new educational and cultural experiences that stimulate people's creativity on a global scale through the 'power to create' and 'power to connect' of our multinational, multicultural and cross-industry professional team, while utilising the knowledge and global network that we cultivate on a daily basis. Looking forward to working and collaborating closely with you all.
